1-minute prayer for peace TODAY at 1:00 pm: The Vatican has issued an appeal for “all men and women of good will to stop for a minute at 1 pm on June 8 — at the workplace, in the street, at home– to pray for peace.”

The worldwide minute of prayer marks the 2nd anniversary of a meeting at which Pope Francis joined with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian leader Abu Mazen in prayer for peace in the Middle East.
